Hannah Crosbie is a drinker, eater and writer. In 2025, she was named as the new drinks columnist for The Observer, after writing as The Guardian’s wine critic. She poured her first bottle in a restaurant when she was a teenager (legally), and has since spent most of her working life writing for papers, going on telly and making memes. She is Scottish.

She has written for British Vogue, London Standard, Financial Times (where she once filled in for Jancis Robinson), The Independent and Noble Rot. She first appeared on Sunday Brunch in 2022 and is now their regular wine presenter.

Her debut book, Corker: A Deeply Unserious Wine Book, was released in 2024.
